Numerous firms make pre-programmed tuners for Duramax diesel trucks but the EFILive is the only one that allows total programming of nearly every section of the ECU (Engine Control Unit)! Product Description
This second generation hardware from EFILive creates the platform to deliver the first multi functional, PC based and standalone data logger and ECM reprogramming system for GM high performance engines. FlashScan V2 combines EFILive's powerful PC based scanning and tuning tools with the simplicity of a handheld programmer. It has been designed to support many late model, OBDII gas and diesel GM engines including LS2 and LBZ.
The EFILive Scan and Tune Tool enable you to take all the information you've learned about your Duramax and optimize its tune. Tune almost every possible aspect of your engines ECM. This includes fuel, spark, automatic transmission shift tables, disabling annoying trouble codes, correcting for different tires and gears and much more. The tuning tool is easy to use-locating and modifying the necessary tables is a breeze. And as you'd expect in a professional tool of this caliber, all of the tables and settings you'll need to tune your truck. These custom tunes support things like:
Boosted applications - Replace the stock 1 bar sensor with a 2 or 3 bar GM sensor with
no loss of VE table resolution
Valet mode - Lets you add a hidden switch that limits the RPM or MPH
MAF less operation - Run in Speed Density mode for absolute control over fuel
Dual spark map - Keeps adaptive spark control operational even after MAF is removed.
FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune
EFILive's FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune package is all you need to start scanning, diagnosing and tuning your high performance GM gas or diesel engine and transmission.
The base package ships with two VIN licenses as standard which means you can tune two engines and two transmissions (up to four controllers) out of the box. If you need to tune more vehicles, simply purchase additional VIN Licenses for $99. Each VIN license allows you to tune one engine and one transmission.
Workshops, can now pick and choose unlimited tuning for their high-volume tuning needs. By adding one or more stream licenses to the base FlashScan package you end up with unlimited tuning freedom for a fraction of the cost of any other comparable product.
80% of the purchase price of each VIN License will be discounted off the price of any stream purchase, up to a maximum of 50% discount on any stream order. So if your workshop sees an increase in the "one-off" VIN License based tuning, you are able to put your investment in VIN Licenses towards an unlimited stream license to cover the increased tuning volume.

EFILive's V2 Scan Tool is the premier Scan Tool for GM's OBDII performance vehicles.
The Scan Tool combines high-speed data logging with powerful tools that simplify data analysis and help you diagnose faults quickly. When integrated with the Tuning Tool, the Scan Tool data provides information to automatically correct fuel delivery, spark, idle and to pinpoint problem calibrations.

FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune owners may purchase additional VIN Licenses to tune extra vehicles. They are available almost instantly via our online order page, please log in to order.
There is no requirement to return your FlashScan V2 cable to EFILive. The V2 VIN Licenses are delivered via email so there are no shipping fees.
